Hello! I started this blog when I had my third (and last) child in 2006. I wrote here regularly until spring of 2009. Although I took down most of the posts when I closed up shop, I did leave up a handful that were my very favourites. Thanks for coming by to check it out.

O Blogosphere!

I wrote you a little Christmas song. You're welcome.

O Blogosphere!

(To the tune of O Christmas Tree! Or O Tannenbaum, for you traditionalists)

O Blogosphere! O Blogosphere!
Thy posts are multiplying.
O Blogosphere! O Blogosphere!
Thy posts are multiplying.
The posts you write, to me they speak.
But I haven’t cleaned my house in weeks!
O Blogosphere! O Blogosphere!
Thy posts are multiplying.

O Blogosphere! O Blogosphere!
Much pleasure thou can’st give me.
O Blogosphere! O Blogosphere!
Much pleasure thou can’st give me.
My Reader’s full, it’s getting bad,
Yet here’s another blog to add.
O Blogosphere! O Blogosphere!
Much pleasure thou can’st give me.

O Blogosphere! O Blogosphere!
Why are thou so enchanting?
O Blogosphere! O Blogosphere!
Why are thou so enchanting?
I need to get my shopping done,
I’ll leave after I read this one.
O Blogosphere! O Blogosphere!
Why are thou so enchanting?

O Blogosphere! O Blogosphere!
I’ll always be fond of you.
O Blogosphere! O Blogosphere!
I’ll always be fond of you.
Don’t take my absence as a jab,
I got checked in to blog rehab.
O Blogosphere! O Blogosphere!
I’ll always beeeee...fond of you.

If only there were a few more Silent Nights and a lot less fa la la la la, the blogosphere would be a far better place.

HA! That was brilliant and so damned true. I can't keep up - anywhere! Blog, home, work, Christmas. I'm screwed!

I approach blogging a bit like eggnog, knowing full well that it is tasty and fun, but it comes at a cost. Overdoing it is nearly lethal.

Little bits, savor it.

Aren't you just full to the brim of Xmas cheer?

And now my reader's empty and I'm off to shop!

Blog rehab often sounds like a grand place. A wonderful song you've penned.

That poem totally describes me and my relationship with the blogosphere! WHere is that rehab located anyway? I think I am in dire need of that or something along those lines, for sure!
